Plan Your Station

Build around the signals you need to trust.

Choose the input path, computer and monitoring layout together, then evaluate the setup with the formats and cameras you use.

Bring your cameras together

Supported Blackmagic devices, Windows cameras, NDI and network inputs let one station serve several production roles. Compatible Sony workflows add attached camera controls beside your scopes.

Keep precision in the path

Native capture formats and source metadata determine the samples available for analysis. Choose the adapter, format and interpretation that fit your signal and intended delivery.

Measure your workload

Shared inputs and supported GPU paths help serve multiple views. Performance Summary makes local timing observations available in every edition while you evaluate your actual layout.

Start with a practical computer budget.

For an HD workspace, a recent multicore Windows x64 PC, 16 GB RAM and capable hardware graphics are useful planning targets. For UHD and larger layouts, consider desktop-class processing, a dedicated GPU and 32 GB RAM as a starting budget.

Source count, formats, trace style and plot size all contribute to workload. Evaluate them together on the computer intended for the show.

Install the runtimes your workflow uses.

The installer includes .NET. Blackmagic uses Desktop Video 14.4 or newer; NDI uses the separate NDI Runtime. Network FFmpeg workflows and Recorder use compatible external FFmpeg, with setup assistance in the app.

AJA integration and DJP Transport are experimental workflows to evaluate on your setup. Local object selection and transcription offer explicit model setup.
